I am grateful, however, for Lost Remote's nomination.

Indeed, it's quite cool getting your own magazine cover.

It's a news philosophy, it's a personal identity, perhaps soon it will be a distinct brand. For right now, it's a blog, an e-mail address, and the culmination of a personal quest to find the best single communications solution to cover all my personal and professional needs.
"Smart, Busy" is one of the filters I've used in TV News to help us make better choices on covering and telling news stories. We try to tell stories and produce newscasts that would meet the needs of a smart and busy viewer. It's not a brand I'd use on-air, but rather an internal reference point for story selection. I love this filter, as I think it keeps us mindful of the wants and needs of the viewers we want to attract.
